During my five years at SPC, I worked on a wide range of projects that spanned graphic design, social media content creation, and short-form and long-form content. As I showcase my portfolio, I will highlight some of the most impactful and memorable projects I had the opportunity to work on. From designing engaging visual content that effectively communicated SPC's message, to creating compelling social media campaigns that generated high levels of engagement and interaction, to crafting informative and thought-provoking long-form content, I am proud of the work I have accomplished during my time at SPC.
Social Media Content Creation
As the media director at SPC, I took on the responsibility of managing our social media channels. When I started, our social engagement was almost non-existent, so I took charge and implemented a vision that I had for the channels. I brought in live moderation during services so we could connect with our internet congregation and created recap sermons and worship moments to engage our audience. Additionally, I worked to create a cohesive look for our social media channels that aligned with our branding.

Broadcast Graphics
At SPC, I worked on many different projects to enhance the worship service experience for the audience. One of my key contributions was creating a cohesive show using a variety of stock graphics to create a more engaging and polished look and feel. From graduation graphics for graduation Sunday to welcome graphics and more, I was able to create customized designs that fit the theme and tone of each service. In addition, I also created long-form content, including videos, to further enhance the worship experience. As part of my role, I also directed a team of 10 to produce live and recorded worship services, ensuring that every aspect of the service was executed seamlessly. Through my work, I was able to help SPC create an engaging and memorable worship experience for all attendees. I take great pride in the work I did at SPC, and I am confident that my contributions have left a lasting impact on the organization and its community.
SPC Identity Guidelines
As part of my work at SPC, I took on the task of revamping our old logo. SPC wanted to maintain the same look and feel, but update the logo to be more modern and professional. I worked on vectorizing the logo, and then cleaning it up to make it more polished and presentable. To ensure that everyone at SPC was able to use the new logo correctly and effectively, I also created an Identity Guideline book. This book served as a comprehensive guide to the proper usage of the logo, including guidelines on typography, color palette, and overall brand style. By creating this Identity Guideline book, I was able to ensure that everyone at SPC was able to use the logo to its full potential, while also maintaining a consistent and professional brand image.

SPC Black History Month Logo
I designed an alternate logo for SPC in support of Black History Month and the Black Lives Matter movement. The goal was to maintain the structure of the existing logo while incorporating symbols and colors that represent the fight for racial justice and equality. The logo was inspired by the tragic killing of George Floyd and serves as a visual reminder of the ongoing struggle for racial justice. Overall, the logo effectively communicates SPC's commitment to supporting Black communities and promoting social justice.

Faith and Culture Excursions
I created a logo for the pastor's traveling business through the church that emphasizes inclusivity and diversity. The pastor requested a logo that would represent the faith-based excursions he offers and convey the message that people of all races and backgrounds are welcome.
Risen Generation
I created a fresh, modern, and youthful logo for Risen Generation, which is our youth church. The department did not have a logo before, and they wanted something that would appeal to our young congregation, up to our college students. The logo's design was inspired by the concept of growth, as the department aims to encourage and nurture the spiritual growth of our youth. I incorporated a clean and modern font, a symbol of an upward arrow to represent growth, and a color scheme that resonates with young people. The logo is now used across various mediums, including social media, marketing materials, and event signage.
SPC How To:
I created helpful how-to videos for SPC, designed to assist older members of the congregation with using technology more easily. One video demonstrated how to upload videos into Google Drive, featuring step-by-step instructions and an AI voiceover. Another video focused on how to download and use the SPC app, with a voiceover provided by one of our staff members. These videos were intended to provide clear and accessible guidance to all members of the congregation, regardless of their level of technological expertise.
The Return Forward
As we began to emerge from the COVID-19 pandemic and open up our church to the public again, I created a video that provided clear instructions on how to navigate the church campus while adhering to social distancing guidelines. This video was crucial in ensuring the safety of our community and preventing the spread of the virus. By presenting the guidelines in an engaging and visually appealing manner, I was able to effectively communicate important information while also maintaining a positive and welcoming atmosphere for our congregation.

Annual Conference 2021-2022
As the media director at SPC, I was responsible for creating the annual conference video for two consecutive years, in 2020 and 2021. These videos were pivotal in showcasing our achievements and progress to the Bishop of the region, and were themed to reflect the unique challenges we faced during the pandemic. Despite the obstacles presented by COVID-19, I was able to deliver high-quality, visually engaging videos that effectively conveyed our message to the Bishop and the wider community.
First Fruits
The First Fruits video I created was a crucial component of the annual event in which we collect one week's salary as a tithe to the church. The video showcased the amazing work we have accomplished and the impact that our contributions have had in the community. Through powerful visuals and engaging storytelling, the video inspired the congregation to continue supporting our mission and highlighted the importance of giving back. It was an honor to be a part of this significant event and create a video that reflected the passion and dedication of our church community.
Sleeves Up
The "Sleeves Up" video was an initiative we created to spread the word about our upcoming vaccination event with Walgreens. As a church, we wanted to encourage our congregation and the community to get vaccinated against Covid-19. The video served as a powerful tool to raise awareness about the event and to help spread the message that getting vaccinated is an important step in protecting ourselves and those around us. We were proud to partner with Walgreens and to play a part in promoting public health and safety.
Saint Philip Cares: Outreach
I produced a monthly video for SPC's outreach team, showcasing our efforts to support the homeless community. Each video documented our outreach activities for the month, highlighting our community engagement and impact.
The Love Tour
I had the privilege of working on the Love Tour, a concert held by SPC at IBOC in Texas. The event brought together over 200 choir members to sing about their love for IBOC and God. As part of my role, I created an animated graphic that was projected in the sanctuary during the concert. I also served as the associate director during the live show, directing the PTZ operators and camera operators to capture the best shots and angles. Additionally, I documented the entire trip to Texas and created a video that showcased the highlights of our journey, as well as the hard work that went into the concert. The video was so well-received that I decided to incorporate it into the live show, streaming it to the audience and adding an extra layer of excitement and energy to the event. Overall, the Love Tour was an incredible experience that showcased the power of music and community, and I am proud to have been a part of it.
As part of the Love Tour, I created a stunning graphic that was projected on the wall of the sanctuary during the concert. Using After Effects, I was able to bring the design to life, adding a dynamic and engaging element to the overall experience. The graphic was a perfect fit for the concert, capturing the energy and spirit of the performers and the audience. It was an honor to be able to contribute my skills to such a memorable and impactful event.
